Marketing | Food Network Magazine

Over the course of my summer 2012 internship, a team of marketing and advertising interns assembled an extensive research report to present to the publishing staff. This report included an analysis of the magazine's competitive set, research on the impact of digital and new media (i.e. the tablet market), and new and emerging ways to utilize Pinterest and other social media to augment the magazine's brand.
Marketing | She's The First

Beginning as a national volunteer for She's the First Headquarters in New York, I developed a variety of marketing materials for the organization (including a Bake Sale Tips Guide and various sell sheets).

When I co-founded a campus chapter this past fall, I took over marketing and social media communication, and developed our own set of marketing materials and newsletters.

Also during my summer 2012 internship, a small group of marketing interns and I were tasked with researching NYC-area restaurants and developing copy points for the Annual Drinking and Dining Guide. Here you'll find the final version of my section, as well as a few of my personal recommendations.

Editorial | Seventeen Magazine
​
While working in the Features Department at Seventeen Magazine, in addition to assisting the EIC, I also helped brainstorm and pitch articles relating to internships, health/fitness, news, life and more. I most recently helped compile an entire internship package, as the primary reporter for the piece. I also handle the "Freebies" calendar each month, securing products and writing copy for the calendar page.

While working in the Editorial Department at Food Network Magazine, I edited the Table of Contents, Star Search and Masthead pages. Additionally, I also helped brainstorm and pitch articles relating to food news, current trends, travel destinations and food, readers/social media and more.

Digital Marketing/Social Media | @YoungLife

As a Digital Marketing Specialist, I work as an instrumental part our marketing team, managing all national social media channels and providing input on all digital compenents of marketing campaigns, special projects, etc. I also managed all social media coverage for a 5,000 person staff conference held in January of 2016 (@YL75Celebration) and helped develop a conference mobile app. I also contribute, on occasion, to our staff/volunteer magazine publication.
